New guitarist King of the World Stef Delbaere
We’re proud to announce our new guitarist Stef Delbaere. In our search we were looking for that magic between the new guitarist and the rest of the band. We ended up in Belgium finding this super guitar talent. Only twenty-four years old he is the man to complete king of the World.
Growing up in between the jazz and blues albums of his daddy he developed his love for blues, roots and rock music. Stef started playing when he was eight years old and did his first performance at age fourteen. He worked his way up into the rock/blues scene in Belgium playing with different bands of which one was the Vipers. With them he shared stages with Deep Purple, Slade, Uriah Heep and Status Quo. In 2013 he started his study at the Rotterdams Conservatorium where he got his “cum laude” diploma in 2017. In Rotterdam he shared the stage with artists like Cory Henry, Jason Lindner, and Marcus Miller. Meanwhile doing session work in Holland and Belgium with people like Jared Grant, Belle Perez, Shirma Rouse and many others
Here a little example of his great playing with the Codarts Pop Orchestra.
